GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD - SATB, PIANO

Retired Canadian Salvation Army Officer Len Ballantine wrote this adaptation of the famous verses from John Chapter 3 in three sections. The first has a relaxed andante feel, with men taking the first verse and the second being a dialogue between them and the women, who have the melody this time. The second moves on in tempo with first women then men given the melody to an "oo" accompaniment. This then leads to a faster rock version of the same material, up a semitone, which winds down to a repeated "God saved the world" passage, getting progressively softer to the end of the piece.
