This book by Major Allen Satterlee reveals the unique struggles of Christian churches who are clinging to the resurrected Jesus during a time of widespread heresies, polytheism and syncretism. Not unlike 21st century congregations, these ordinary churches in the book of Revelation were sustained by the hope that Jesus would return to earth to vanquish their oppressors.
