Big Questions for Small Groups is a series designed for small-group discussion but it can also be used for individual reflection. In this special edition, each chapter has been written by a different author/s to focus on one topic, followed by questions for the reader to consider.
In September 2021, the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory released a new mission statement comprised of five mission priorities. Simultaneously, the territory released a new vision statement and a new stated ‘intention’ for the territory – Love God, Love Others.
In this book, writers from across the territory explain the thinking behind each of these missional statements, offering the opportunity to reflect on the mission, vision and intention of The Salvation Army as well as exploring our own sense of identity, found in God.
