Child marriage violates human rights and threatens young girls’ lives. It can mean the end to a girl’s education and lead to complications related to pregnancy and childbirth. In Bangladesh, The Salvation Army is working with communities to challenge the practice of child marriage and protect girls from this form of abuse.
