Leading a Child to Christ

Since its inception The Salvation Army has coveted children for the Kingdom, realising that childhood is the time when values are established and liyalties developed.
The validity of child conversion has always been a subject of religious debate. The Salvation Army has a powerful argument to support its practise of encouraging children to answer the call of Jesus - the evidence of many people in its ranks who testify to the lasting effect of their childhood decision to follow christ.
A desire to protect young people from evil influences which can easily destroy an unguarded soul will spur us on to prepare them adequately for the 'good fight'. This booklet is offered as a guide to those who see the urgency of the task.
