Feel Good - CD

The idea of producing a CD was brought about by the desire of the singing company leadership team to;

• Provide a permanent record of the group in 2015 which was at one of its strongest membership   levels for many years, possibly at over 30 members the largest ever.   The group was also unique in having a broad age range, a good ratio of boys to girls and an important   representation of British African members.
• The strong membership allied to some advanced musical skills means that the group were capable of producing a high quality recording of appropriate songs. The hope was that blessing would be received by the listener with the gospel portrayed in a way that only children and young adults can.
• The production would provide an incentive and focal point for the members in striving to maintain and grow the standard of performance and interest in the group.
• The play-list is typical of the music and performance standard which is provided every Sunday in worship at the Citadel. 
• The production of the CD, and the effect it could have was made a matter of prayer in the sections devotional time.  Members were encouraged to share the disc, with a school friend, by a generous donation made by a church member who paid for each participant to receive a copy free of charge.  The CD and its ministry have stayed at the forefront of the groups thoughts.

The project could not have proceeded without the generosity of church members, who after attending an open rehearsal where the project was outlined, purchased CD’s before they were produced and together with individual donations ensured that the cost of production was met before it had even commenced.
